Screaming Females is an American rock band from New Brunswick, New Jersey. They have released seven full-length albums. The band comprises Marissa Paternoster on guitar and vocals, Jarrett Dougherty on drums, and Mike “King Mike” Abbate on bass. The band has been featured on NPR, Last Call with Carson Daly, and MTV.

Glostik Willy is a Hippy Metal band from Indiana that is made up of brothers Jay Moe & Ralf Mowf, with lifelong partner in rock, Buddha Aguilar.  Glostik has spent many years crafting their unique style that has helped them to become the top midwest rock band.  A wide variety of influences combined with years of crafting, has created a monster that can be seen every time the band takes the stage.

BAOKU is a world class Afro-fusion music powerhouse. Based out of Cincinnati, Ohio, this band performs all original music by their Nigerian front man, Baoku Moses. Baoku is a professionally-trained African drummer, dancer, and talented songwriter. He began the band in 2005. In following the legacy and footsteps of the
late Afrobeat legend Fela Kuti, Baoku’s music fusion a solid rock and jazz fusion with African instruments and languages to express world peace and unity.

Self-described as a “nasty, doo-woppy band,” Cincinnati’s TWEENS borrow from their hometown’s rock history as well as from bad-girl punk from the ’70s through the ’90s. The trio formed in April 2012 when vocalist/guitarist Bridget Battle began playing a Dixie-Cups song with drummer Jerri Queen and bassist Peyton Copes in the practice space of the house they shared.

Recently featured on Jack White’s album, “Lazaretto”, Nashville based harpist and songwriter Timbre has been enchanting audiences throughout the US and Europe in growing numbers with her unique brand of harp-fronted chamber-folk. Her career has caught the attention of the music world, and has led to her recording and collaborating with rock legends Jack White, Tom Jones, Ricky Skaggs, and rock bands such as mewithoutYou, O’Brother, Brooke Waggoner, and The Chariot. The pairing of Timbre’s classically trained voice and harp skills with the dynamic sounds of her talented backing band have entranced crowd after crowd, often bringing complete stillness to crowded bars and festivals, silencing audiences of thousands. With her creative and innovative bandmates Chris Leidhecker (drums) and Camille Faulkner (violin), Timbre creates lush soundscapes that pull in listeners of every background. Sometimes haunting, sometimes driving, sometimes unabashedly joyful, Timbre is a musical experience that is completely unique and compelling, reminding listeners that music can move us like nothing else can.

Cincinnati duo Lung may have minimal personnel and instrumentation, but their sound is nothing shy of colossal. Dark, sludgy, and oddly neoclassical, their tunes are like the echoes of a rockslide crashing down a cavern’s walls.

Hollering tales of murder, betrayal, debauchery, and long, dark Saturday nights of the soul. Stripped raw, bruised, and cracking a bloody, split-lip grin, The Shambles deliver a loud, belligerent style of demonic hill-stomp blues that almost . . . but not quite . . . betrays an air of subtle sophistication lingering just around the edges. “Rough garage rock & dirty basement blues that kicks you right in the gut bucket.” Whatever you call it, The Whiskey Shambles sure enough get asses shakin and heads rockin — and that ain’t no half-steppin! Shellshag are an American two piece punk rock band, formed in 1997, that have released records on Don Giovanni Records, Mauled by Tigers, We Are Busy Bodies, Thrillhouse Records, Plan it X South and their own imprint Starcleaner Records.

Tourist Trap’s music is in the vein of alternative rock, indie, surf, blues, and punk. The band dubs their genre as “Rock n’ roll porch punk”. Tourist Trap has opened for acts such as Franz Ferdinand, Lovelytheband, The Glorious Sons, Hail The Sun, and more. The four-piece also hosts their own annual music festival, the Gnarbeque Music + Arts Festival, every year in Columbus, which they use to give back to local charities in their community. They released their debut EP, Going Postal, in January 2018, and the band plans on releasing a new record in summer of 2019.

Freak Mythology, a psychedelic funk rock band from Cincinnati, OH, brings listeners back to better days with their youthful energy and modern twist of a timeless sound. Adding grooves to this sense of nostalgia, their elements of funk and blues guitar, harmonious vocals, and heavy drums is not only catchy, but heavy in it’s own confidence of sound. This sound has earned them an Album of the Year award from UK Rock Blog PRNAV, a slot in 2017 and 2018 return to play at Hippie Fest Music & Arts Festival, 1st place in the Cincinnati’s Next Big Band competition, song placement in a short film by award winning director Martin Neveu, and placement onto the top local radio stations in Cincinnati as well as numerous college stations across the country.

The Grove is a Cincinnati, OH based Jam-Rock band that has put ten years of heart and soul into everything they have delivered. The four members have come a long a way from sharing their music to Ohio University students at their house parties on Grosevenor Street (Hint: The Grove) to sharing stages with guitarist Kyle Cook (Matchbox Twenty) and blues legend Davy Knowles.

Common Center is a 7-piece ensemble of 12-string guitar, violin, saxophone, keyboards, bass, and drums. Their compositions intermingle soft, mellifluous tones with punchy, driving rhythms—a balance between meditativeness and ferocity. The goal is transcendence.

The band writes and records in Covington, Kentucky (across the river from Cincinnati). Their influences range from progressive rock and folk roots to classical music, gypsy grooves, and avant-garde groups from around the world. The lyrics explore themes of consciousness, friendship, and inter-dimensional travel. Poetry intertwines with operatic swells and occasional, dream-like overtones. Multi-part vocal and instrumental harmonies have the power to both lull and invigorate listeners.

Founded and inspired within the deep roots of psychedelic and experimental rock, Damage Therapy draws their unique sound from a slew of modern music niches ranging from Southern Gothic sounds such as 16 Horsepower and Slim Cessna’s Auto Club to riff heavy, stoner influenced stylings such as Kyuss and Clutch. Make no mistake, however, this is far from a one-trick pony outfit. They make a lot of stops in between as they showcase bits of traditional music touching with jazz, funk, soul, and blues vibes throughout their catalogue of songs.

A cocktail of psychedelic guitar rock and songwriter sensibility, In The Pines is a five-piece band based in Cincinnati, OH. The group is built upon the musical partnership of Charlie Horn (guitar) and Michael Shular (guitar/vocals), who started playing as In The Pines in April 2016. After the release of their LP Mirror of Evolution in August 2017, they enlisted the talent of Patrick Zopff (bass/vocals), and Graham Holthaus (alto saxophone/percussion). A year of performances across regional venues predeeded the involvement of Alex Dungan (drums).

Soften is a four-piece indie rock band from Cincinnati, OH. They released their debut album “Seen + Unseen” in the Fall of 2017 and earned a nomination for Best New Artist at the Cincinnati Entertainment Awards in the same year.

Danbient is the alter ego of Cincinnati native Dan Barger. Dan, a multi-instrumentalist/composer/producer, is a chameleon in the music industry. Having played in numerous musical projects with widely ranging styles such as Freekbass and the Bump Assembly (funk), The Cliftones (reggae), Los Honchos (dirty grit soul), Zumba and Rumbon (traditional Cuban, Puerto Rican and salsa), Bob Ross Quartet (modern original jazz), Space Dub (freely improvised quartet) and others, Dan made the bold choice to embark on this new musical journey.
